The basic protection principals for these facilities are often very close to those for comparably sized normal Class I and II commercial projects but often have specialized criteria to deal with the added protection measures associated with explosive and flammable materials handling and storage, air craft hangars and facilities, overhead catenary type systems and protection for specialized antennas, control towers and other elevated structures and equipment.
